A graduate with the ability to use software and information techniques, can solve problems on monitoring the environment, water treatment and supply, atmosphere and soil protection, waste management and disposal of sewage.
Studies at this specialization prepare to take up a job in a wide sector of environmental engineering. The graduate may work as a construction engineer and operator of objects and appliances used in industrial environment protection, communal economy, water management and engineering, transportation and agriculture as well as other natural environment services. Possessing a wide substantive knowledge and awareness of legal acts and standards on environmental protection, our graduate may find employment as a clerk in offices connected with hazards of industrial, agricultural and urban development.

A student of this specialisation during the first four semesters acquires the same knowledge as a student of Environmental Protection specialisation. Due to this fact, one is ready to design and exploit systems of natural environment protection, systems of monitoring the environment and will be aware of possible ways of solving different problems which environmental engineers may face.
The third year of studies is mainly devoted to environmental requirements in the micro scale (environment of residences, offices, work places, sacral places). Lectures, calculation exercises, and above all, laboratories and projects which prepare for monitoring the inner environment, designing, constructing and assorting appliances for tasks connected with ventilation and air-conditioning in numerous places.
Studies at the specialization of ventilation and air-conditioning prepare to take up a job in ensuring proper quality of the outer and inner environment. The ability to design and construct ventilation and air-conditioning appliances, and first of all, thorough knowledge of designing, installing and assortment are the strong basis when applying for a job.
